Opening Our Doors & COVID-19

We will be re-opening our doors for Indoor Services on October 11, 2020. We are also taking much pre-caution and care in making sure you're safe & socially distanced.

A Letter from our Worship, Music, & Art Committee

To Whom It May Concern,

Following safe/best practices during COVID, our Church has not met in our building since March. Governor Whitmer recently issued new orders for the opening of many businesses starting October 9th. Thus, our Church Council has decided we will start worship service in Church on Sunday, October 11th. The Worship team will continue to offer options to live stream from home and the Church parking lot.

We will follow COVID-19 precautions. Please enter through the North Door and exit through the front door (West door) except for those who need to use the ramp. Congregation will wear facemasks, socially distance, and register attendance upon arrival. 6 feet distance will be maintained with a green X” placed on pews and floors. Family groups may sit as a unit in one pew.

There will be no singing by Congregation. Cantors may be used to enhance service. Communion will not be served. Hand sanitizer stations will be available. After service, please exit back pews first while maintaining social distance. There will be no congregating inside before or after church (no coffee hour).

It has been a very stressful time for all of us. Council hopes that by providing this informational letter, we can ease the worries that will come as we return to Church.
